Winter Spin + Bat Course

The Cricket Pad is hosting a 5-Week Bat & Spin Bowling Academy at Lukeys Indoor Cricket Centre in Blackburn. Designed for young cricketers aged 8 to 15, the program delivers 10 hours of elite-level coaching focused specifically on mastering spin bowling and batting against spin.

This specialist academy provides young players with the opportunity to learn directly from international and elite-level coaches in a small-group setting. Running as a 10-week program with two-hour sessions every other week, the course ensures maximum individual development and sustained progression.

Coaching Team:

Tilly Malshan: Sri Lankan Professional Cricketer & Spin Specialist.

Alex Robinson: The Cricket Pad Lead Coach.

Core Focus Areas:

Bowling spin techniques.

Strategies for batting against spin.

Overall skills development.

In-game match awareness.

Location: Lukeys Indoor Cricket Centre, Blackburn (BB1 2TD).

Age Groups: 8-11 year olds and 12-15 year olds.

Format: 5 x 2-hour sessions (every other week).

Cost: £150 for the full 5 sessions (£15/hour).
